1: never knew how cheap truck engines were. A running 4.6 Modular for less than $200 CAD? Nice!
2: this is the last time I ever try to move a V8 without an engine hoist. My back is killing me.

I picked up an SBC 350, TH350 transmission, bunch of aftermarket goodies, and a solid engine stand few months ago for $750. I second you on the engine hoist. I got it out of my pickup in the sketchiest way possible.

I pushed this 4.6 out of the truck bed onto a pile of old tires while hoping it wouldn’t fall on the floor.
So yeah, the hoist is next on the purchase list.
